Since beginning as programs coordinator in August 2011, Michael Larson has become deeply involved in several programs running out of the northern office, including the BetterBuildings for Michigan and Green Ways Trail Map programs, Alger Energy Savers, WPPI Low Income Energy Optimization, and the Low Income and Energy Efficiency Fund. By scheduling assessments and completing reporting for various programs, he works to keep the northern office running smoothly.

Larson has a BS in public relations and a Masters of Public Administration, and has previously worked as the Dean on Duty/Graduate Assistant in the Dean of Students' Office at Northern Michigan University. He has also worked as a fly fishing guide in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
