As part of our mission to increase energy conservation, Michigan Energy Options performs energy assessments for homeowners across the state. During an assessment, our specialists will inspect your home and address components related to energy efficiency such as insulation, water usage, heating and cooling, windows, doors, lighting and appliance efficiency. By completing a full assessment of your home, the specialist can provide information about its current state and suggestions for improvements that will reduce your energy usage and save you money.

In addition to the home visit, you will receive a personalized checklist of energy efficiency and conservation recommendations to use as a resource for possible improvements. You will also receive a free 1-year membership to Michigan Energy Options, allowing you to receive information on seminars, trainings and other energy programming for your home or place of work.
