Michigan Energy Options is the home of two of Michigan's nine state designated Energy Demonstration Centers. Our offices are located in East Lansing and Marquette.  At our Energy Demonstration Centers, we provide valuable information and resources on topics such as:

  • Energy Efficient Lighting
  • Recycled Materials
  • LEED certification and Green Building requirements 
  • What makes a Green Business Green?

Tours of the Energy Demonstration Centers

Group and individual tours are available by appointment to elementary and secondary school classes, civic groups, adult education courses, community colleges, universities, individuals and many other organizations.  These seminars are an overview of energy efficient, ecological and sustainable options for the home.

The average tour length runs from 1 to 1.5 hours and can be scheduled during the hours of 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.  Special arrangements can be made for evening or weekend tours

Seminars offered by Michigan Energy Options

Seminars are also offered by appointment and can be scheduled at a convenient location. Michigan Energy Options offers the following seminars:
