Everybody Eats: Cultivating Food Democracy

Time: February 10th 7-9PM & February 11th 8:30AM-4PM

Location: Pattengill Middle School, Lansing MI  (626 Marshall St)

Cost: February 10th is free.  February 11th is $15 to pre-register, $20 at the door

A two day conference for people who grow, produce, process, market, distribute, prepare or eat food (this means you).

Friday, February 10 will provide space for socializing and networking and will feature a keynote address from Katherine Kelly, Executive Director of Cultivate Kansas City. Light refreshments will be served. Saturday, February 11 will feature 20 workshop sessions, a luncheon catered by a Lansing-based business and keynote speaker Malik Yakini, Executive Director of the Detroit Black Community Food Security Network.
