MEO's Busy Summer Schedule

Smart Commute, energy fairs, festivals across the state . . . like you, MEO has a busy summer ahead.

Join us, our partners and our friends for events that highlight the emerging green energy economy in Michigan.

June 14-25, 2010
Smart Commute
Michigan and Nationally

Team MEO is participating in the Capital’s Smart Commute Challenge Week 2010, which began on June 14 and runs until June 25. Smart Commute encourages people to use alternative methods to transportation in their daily activities, such as walking, carpooling, telecommuting, busing, and biking.  The program features various bicycle commuting events, educational forums, and other promotional events in walks,

marathons, and festivals.  Mid-MEAC is coordinating the Lansing region’s Smart Commute, and there are Smart Commutes happening in other places throughout the state and country. MEO is also supporting Smart Commute.

June 25-27, 2010

Rock Financial Showcase, Novi, MI.

Look for MEO’s booth and for staff presentations on energy efficiency and worm composting at this fair, hosted by the Great Lakes Renewable Energy Association. This fair connects the public with local sustainable energy industries and organizations in activities, workshops, and presentations.
